As a Bay Area native, I’ve been lucky to be surrounded by the bounty of what this area has to offer. I also come from huge family that loves to cook and EAT! I’m most comfortable in the kitchen or sitting around the table with loved ones. When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my husband and our baby girl - planning what ingredient she’ll try next!
My experience ranges from cooking for those who wish to indulge in comfort food, to the health conscious professional athlete...as well as those with dietary restrictions such as gluten free, kosher or vegan. Additionally, I offer private or group cooking lessons where my clients can develop their culinary skills and become more confident home cooks.
Always seeking to improve, I continue to craft my style of approachable, yet well-executed cuisine. I strive to keep my clients pleasantly full and excited for their next meal!.
Background
I began my cooking career in 2006 as an apprentice for a Bay Area personal chef while attending the Culinary Arts Program at CCSF. While completing the accreditation, I was recruited to be the first employee of The Cooking School at Cavallo Point where I spent two years developing as an instructor and chef. Continuing my interest in seasonal and local fare, and in pursuit of expanding the diversity of my professional culinary experience, I went on to spend a year and a half cooking at the Blue Plate in San Francisco. Years later, I was fortunate to return and hold post as Pastry Chef. It has always been important for me to be skilled at both the savory and sweet sides of the kitchen. Since 2010, I have turned my focus toward a smaller audience, principally by working as a personal chef to Bay Area clients. In most recent years, I have had the honor of cooking for an MVP of the Golden State Warriors. Cooking healthy, seasonal and craveable “comfort food” all the while fueling a championship player has been a dream.
